We are excited to be a potential part of your event and look forward to providing our house made specialties to enhance your guests’ experience.
Gram and Papas came to life in September 2008 and quickly became an important lunch destination in downtown Los Angeles. Our philosophy is direct: Use carefully sourced and fresh ingredients to create simple food that tastes and feels good.
At Gram and Papas we pride ourselves on consistency and value for price paid. We have taken our experience from over 15 years working with the country's most acclaimed restaurants and translated those standards to our eatery. For example, we use artisan bread delivered daily with no preservatives or additives from LA’s famed Breadbar Bakery. We brine and roast our own turkey breast, poach special fresh tuna loin in olive oil for tuna salad and rotate through all of our vegetables on a daily basis. Of course, we only serve fresh squeezed juices and the city’s best coffee and tea from Intelligentsia. We don’t cut corners or sacrifice flavors to increase speed or lower cost. We are proud of our product and are confident that we will be a memorable addition to your event.
From our own experiences we know that arranging for catering can be a stressful and time consuming task and look forward to making it as straight forward and easy as possible. We pride ourselves on our ability to be flexible and responsive to you and your group’s needs.
We ask for 24 hours notice to ensure that we can provide the full menu offered at any volume. We provide all necessary serving utensils, baskets and bowls. There is an additional price for plates, bowls and flatware for individual consumption. There is a base delivery charge beginning at $15 that increases depending on distance from the restaurant. Once we have decided on a menu you will be emailed a contract and credit card authorization form which should be completed and faxed to us.
